ok, so ill be ordering my upgrades before monday,

just wondering peoples view on the following

ASUS P5Q PRO Turbo, P45, Socket-775
http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=445214 or should i wait for http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=352402

the are nearly identical minus a few things

0r go for http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=362638 since its nvidia based

WD VelociRaptor 150GB
http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=378747

raptor's worth getting? buffer is 16mb while 32mb on most 7200rpm hdd's will this make a difference,

and finally thinking of getting corsair 5-5-5-16 8500 ddr2 ram i understand all those numbers other than the 8500 , in comparison to 6400 version is it much faster,

cheers for yer help

yes it really does.

wouldn't know as I've never used a solid state drive before. I'd guess not though.

It is a noticable increase on just a single raptor though.

You change motherboard with intel DP55KG and then change processor with latest intel i7 series. 4GB ram is sufficient for gaming purpose.

Having tinkered with the PCI update, accessories and wireless Internet access, I wanted to upgrade my current motherboard allows faster processor.I currently Nvidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB 256bit RAM. I am running Leopard, and one station to another in Windows 7. I think that understanding is correct. ATI is cheaper, but I think Nvidia has more support in the future.
We must be the change we want to see
